The Kiwanis Club of San Angelo is where purpose meets action. We’re part of a global network of volunteers dedicated to empowering communities and improving the lives of children everywhere. Through service projects, youth leadership programs, fundraisers, and events like our annual Little Olympics, we help local kids dream bigger and communities grow stronger.

Guests are invited to join us for lunch on Tuesdays at noon at the Golden Corral to see about Kiwanis. When you become a member, you’ll find friendship, fulfillment, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

DESK - Donate Educational Supplies to Kids!

The D.E.S.K. organization works year round, alongside community partners, in pursuit of its mission “To ensure all SAISD students have the necessary school supplies to facilitate learning.” Community partners who have joined D.E.S.K. in its mission include: McDonald's, 1st Community Federal Credit Union, Dr. Pepper, Sam's Club, KLST, San Angelo Standard-Times and Townsquare Media 

The D.E.S.K. organization hosts school supply drives in the fall and fundraisers throughout the year including a golf tournament; online silent auction; participation in San Angelo Gives, the 24-hour, online giving event in May; and a Christmas decoration sale. Along with these events, D.E.S.K. also applies for grants with local foundations and receive donations from local organizations, churches and people who also feel supporting our local students in this way is critical to helping provide them with a great education.

Program Meeting

Please join us for a Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation update from our very own, Becky Hartman. Not only has Becky served as the president of the San Angelo Kiwanis Club twice, she serving a second year as our Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation Trustee for Region 6. Becky previously served as Lieutenant Governor for Division 12 for two years and is a life member of the Texas-Oklahoma District of Kiwanis International’s Past Lieutenant Governors’ Association. Becky serves as Advisor for the Key Club at San Angelo Central High School.

Club Business Meeting: Committee Review

The agenda includes committee reviews presented by Sara Rosamond and preparing for this month’s activity, which is the West Angelo Kiwanis Trunk-or-Treat.

We will be collecting donations of candy, stickers, glow sticks, spider rings, etc., and cash, to provide to about 1,000 trunk-or-treaters!
